Strategy 2030

As a University, our role in transforming individual lives and positively impacting society is unquestioned, and this is something that we will continue to do through Strategy 2030

At the event launch on 16th February 2022, students submitted their creative writing pieces on Sustainability and Social Injustice, which you can read below!

Sustainability and Social Injustice

How accountable are we?

Take a look at how we’re progressively destroying the planet

How selfish and cruel can we be?

See how we are growing envy on Earth

Can we dress ourselves with robes of virtue?

To allow sustainability

Can we lift those who are oppressed?

To allow sustainability.

Nights of terror and fear

Nights of hardship and crime

Born from the hurts of shame

Born from the dirt of injustice

Sounds of uncertainty everywhere

Sounds of weeping and gnashing of teeth

Killed with visible hatefulness

Burned from a fire of social injustice.

Sustainability births continuation

To keep us alive, lest we perish

Sustainability births continuation

To ensure we keep improving, lest we cry

So, let's continue to have more births of sustainability.

It's getting better, and it's safe.

Sustain gives birth to brilliant brains.

Learning how to do it and keeping it up to date.
